Redwood Road Madimimi Banner-01

Update - Dec. 14, 2017

Major Traffic Changes Coming to Redwood Road

Changes to traffic are coming to Redwood Road over the next week as crews work to stripe the five-lane configuration. Completion of the new travel lanes is expected to relieve traffic congestion in the area. The following depicts the upcoming work and traffic changes.

TOMORROW

Beginning Friday morning, Dec. 15, crews will stripe the new pavement on the east side of Redwood Road. One-way flagging will be used at intersections to complete this work.

At approximately 10 p.m., Redwood Road traffic will shift to the east side of the road from 400 South to Lake View Terrace Road. This traffic pattern will remain in place until next week. Drivers should pay attention, adhere to the construction signage and follow barrels.

NEXT WEEK

Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 19, crews will restripe the west side of Redwood Road and Grandview Boulevard. Restriping activities may last up to four days. One-way flagging will be used at intersections to complete this work.

Once striping is complete, all five lanes on Redwood Road from 400 South to Lake View Terrace Road and dual left-turn lanes on Grandview Boulevard will be open to the public. The new traffic pattern is expected to be in place by Friday, Dec. 22.

Construction activities and schedule are weather-dependent and subject to change.
